DAFS aims to reduce the impact of drug and alcohol misuse on families,
carers and significant others by working with family members to improve
or secure their physical and psychological health, family relationships,
financial situation, employment and social life.
This service provides:

One to one and group support to any person who is affected by or concerned about someone else substance misuse (including alcohol)

Talks in schools, youth clubs and to community groups

This service also provides parental information sessions on drugs and alcohol

Monday - Thursday - 9.00am - 5.00pm
Tuesday - 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Thursday - 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Friday - 9.00am - 4.30pm and 5.00pm - 7.00pm
Who can use the service?
Anyone who is concerned with someone else substance misuse.
Referrals are accepted from drug and alcohol services, social services
and other agencies. This service is provided to anyone over the age of
18 there is no upper limit.
Accessibility
Venues throughout Gwent are used to ensure that appointments can be
arranged at locations near to the service user.
