The NHS Direct Wales website now incorporates a Health, Well Being and Support Directory. This directory contains information about a variety of health and well being services provided locally and nationally, including community groups, befriending schemes, condition specific support groups, transport schemes and chronic condition management services to name just a few. A range of other dynamic services can also be accessed through the NHS Direct Wales| website including a bilingual A - Z health encyclopedia, detailed health information and many other local services searches.

You can access the Health, Well-Being & Support Directory by visiting the Local Services section of the NHS Direct Wales website.

Alternatively, if you do not have access to the internet you can call NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47, available 24 hours a day, and an information specialist will search for information on your behalf. If you are deaf or hard of hearing you can contact NHS Direct Wales by textphone on 0845 606 46 47, also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or call them through RNID typetalk on 1 8001 0845 46 47.
